WELD METAL-CUT FAST (Cutting Electrodes)

WELD METAL-CUT FAST is a welding electrode with a special coating that gives a stable arc during the cutting and piercing processes. The kerfs are clean and narrow. suitable for all positions. Almost no slag is produced. There is no need for any supplementary gas like oxygen, acetylene, or compressed air. Piercing of metals can be done in all positions.

WELD METAL-CUT FAST, Recommended for the cutting and chamfering of various steels, such as mild steels, low alloy steels, stainless steels, and cast iron. The cuts are fairly smooth.

RECOMMENDED TECHNIQUE:

FOR PIERCING: Hold the electrodes at 90° to the job. Apply the push-in and pull-out techniques.
FOR CUTTING: Hold the electrodes at 45°, press them on the job, and use TO and FRO motions like sawing.

Use the correct technique, angle of the electrodes, and recommended current. Re-dry the moist electrodes at 100 °C for 30 minutes. After striking the arc, swing the arc back and forth as in sawing.
